KOK Annual Review 2021

This year, once more, we look back on a challenging time, again marked by the corona virus. As in 2020, the specialised counselling centres had to maintain their counselling work under contact restrictions in order to be able to identify and support trafficked persons and victims of exploitation.

Despite many restrictions, the KOK was able to implement some of its projects, such as the publication of the report Rights of Trafficked Persons in Criminal Proceedings - An Investigation into the Implementation of the Trafficking in Human Beings Directive 2011/36/EU in Germany in the summer and the report Data Collection on Trafficking in Human Beings and Exploitation in Germany - Report of the KOK e.V. 2020/2021, Results of the KOK Data Tool, in the autumn of this year. The joint expert day with the BKA in September and the expert conference on Trafficking in Human Beings and Data Policy in October were also realised in presence.

Further information on the work of the KOK and important events in the past year can be found in the annual review. It is available as a download (PDF) in German and English.
