Currently the 7th periodic report on the implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights by Germany is under review by the Human Rights Committee.
The KOK submitted a brief NGO submission presenting the human rights situation from an NGO perspective. The KOK refers to the German periodic report and expresses concern inter alia regarding access to justice for foreign victims of trafficking and exploitation.
The hearing at the Human Rights Committee is scheduled for 11./12. October 2021.
