The statutes of the KOK – German NGO Network against Trafficking in Human Beings – KOK eV provides information about the association, its tasks and goals, its non-profit status, membership, the association's bodies and much more.

Mission
The KOK's mission statement was revised in July 2025 and adopted at the members' meeting in October 2025.
Donation Policy
The KOK's donation policy describes how voluntary contributions are handled and the principles of transparent and responsible use of funds.
Initiative Transparent Civil Society
The KOK is part of the Transparent Civil Society initiative.
Non-profit organizations are not legally obligated to publish specific data. However, to provide insight into the sources of funding, how it is used, and who the decision-makers are, the KOK has committed to making the following ten pieces of information publicly available and keeping them up to date.

KOK eV was founded in 1999. In December 1999 the Office It was initially established in Potsdam. On December 15, 2006, the association's headquarters and its business and coordination office were moved to Berlin.

Our work is exempt from corporation tax under Section 5 Paragraph 1 No. 9 of the Corporation Tax Act and from trade tax under Section 3 No. 6 of the Trade Tax Act, according to the most recent exemption notice issued to us by the Berlin Tax Office for Corporations I (tax number 27/670/62925) on July 24, 2025, due to the promotion of general and vocational education and the promotion of assistance for victims of crime. KOK eV is recognized as a non-profit organization.
The volunteer Board of Directors The board consists of at least three and at most five members and is elected for a two-year term. It represents the KOK in all legal and extrajudicial matters. The responsible and extensive work of the board is currently carried out by

The main tasks of the teams is Office are:
- the networking of specialised counselling centres
- Research, preparation, and dissemination of information
- Representation of KOK eV in national and international committees and in politics

- Providing speakers on the topics Trafficking in Human Beings and exploitation
- Fundraising

The club's remuneration scheme is based on the TVöD (Collective Agreement for the Public Sector).
The work of the office is regularly supported by interns and legal trainees.

The KOK was funded in 2024 by the Federal Ministry of Education, Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and, via Diakonie Germany, by the Federal Government Commissioner for Migration, Refugees and Integration.
There were no individual donations in 2024 that exceeded 10% of total annual revenue.
