The database contains relevant cases from national and international jurisprudence on the topic. Trafficking in Human Beings and exploitation.
Besides cases of Trafficking in Human Beings for sexual exploitation (MH/S), for labor exploitation (MH/A) as well as the exploitation of begging or criminal acts, there are also decisions on offenses that have thematic overlaps with the Trafficking in Human Beings exhibiting (e.g. wage exploitation, pimping, rape, etc.).
In selecting judgments, the database also focuses particularly on decisions from other areas related to the rights of those affected. These include, for example, compensation for damages, pain and suffering, wage claims, state compensation, and immigration law. The database includes both decisions found in commercial databases and previously unpublished judgments.
Since the beginning of 2022, the KOK eV's case law database has been maintained in cooperation with the German Institute for Human Rights eV (DIMR). This collaboration was initially part of the project phase for developing a concept for a Reporting office on the topic of human traffickingThe report was prepared by the German Institute for Human Rights (DIMR) on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ). The cooperation was tested until the end of the project phase in October 2022 and has been continued by the reporting office since November 2022.

The case collection is continuously expanded and updated. We welcome suggestions for further relevant decisions.
