Additional Information | PR work wherein the focus is on presenting the Centre’s tasks and goals to the public and extending its work beyond providing support to individuals. This aspect is also particularly important for Theodora to be able to achieve its goals. Prostitution and people who pursue this activity often face prejudices and stigma. Although it is deeply rooted in social structures, prostitution is one of the most taboo activities. As a result, prostitutes often have to lead a double life and find it difficult to find opportunities in life. The counselling centre THEODORA wishes to implement and develop the Prostitution Act adopted in 2001, and fights for prostitutes to be able to lead a self-determined personal and professional life that is free from prejudice. Its counselling work is therefore centred essentially on self-help. This means that the organisation helps clients to find new opportunities in life and offers accompaniment, but also supports them to become professional in their activity |
