According to the European Day against Trafficking in Human Beings on the 18th of October, the EU-project Justice at Last published a letter to the European elected representatives. Through this, it calls upon the implementation of their 6-point action plan to ensure the access to compensation for trafficked and exploited persons. Despite the legal framework for compensation, evidence shows that it still remains difficult in practice. You can read the whole letter, including the action plan here.
