The year 2022 was marked by challenges for the work of civil society organisations and specialised counselling centres, not least in view of the war in Ukraine.
In response to the war in Ukraine and the associated risks for trafficking in human beings, KOK and the networked specialised counselling centres developed new information material and provided advice about the risks of trafficking in human beings and the rights and protection options for trafficked persons, including through leaflets, online workshops and video tutorials. At the end of the year, the report Trafficking in human beings and exploitation in the context of the Ukraine War - An Investigation from the Perspective of Specialised Counselling Centres on the Situation in Germany was presented as a result of the KOK project on Ukraine.
Further information on the work of the KOK and important events in the past year can be found in the annual review. This is available as a download (PDF) in German and English.
