Quality Standards for Specialised Counselling Centres Working with Trafficked Persons

Quality standards serve as practical guidance for counselling centres in their work with affected individuals. They show what needs-based, high-quality and sustainable support looks like. The staff of the counselling centres developed these standards together more than ten years ago. The aim is to secure and continuously improve the quality of counselling and support. The standards reflect established practice and strengthen cooperation between counselling centres to ensure comprehensive support for trafficked persons.
The quality standards are essential for professional social work with and for people affected by human trafficking. They are described in detail in the Handbook on Training which is available to KOK members.
KOK has now published the joint quality standards in a summarised and clear format.
